Manja Schreiner (born April 29, 1978 in Wismar) is a German lawyer and economic expert. Since the beginning of 2024, she has been the chief executive of the Berlin Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK), where she advocates for the interests of Berlin’s economy – with a special focus on recruiting skilled workers and sustainable training concepts.
Previously, she was Berlin Senator for Mobility, Transport, Climate Protection and the Environment (2023–2024) in the Wegner Senate. She began her professional career in the legal department of AIDA Cruises and led her through positions at the Federation of German Industries (BDI) and the Central Association of German Crafts (ZDH) to the general manager of the Berlin and Brandenburg Construction Association.
In addition to her economic expertise, she is politically active and was active in the CDU Berlin for many years, including as deputy state chairwoman.
