What your donation accomplishes
A scholarship with TalentsBridge costs €350 per month and covers tuition fees, learning materials, and support from qualified instructors. In 2026, 100 trainees will begin the first cohort in Namibia. The program is funded by companies, foundations, and individuals who are ready to take concrete action.
Scholarship recipients complete a recognized German vocational training program based on the dual model, the most sought-after training system in the world. Theory and practice are combined from the very beginning. The final exams are certified by the Berlin Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK). The result is a qualification with international recognition.
The first cohort will include training programs for sales associates, culinary professionals specializing in restaurant service, and industrial electricians specializing in industrial engineering—three fields with concrete demand in the Namibian and German job markets.
Who benefits
The scholarship recipients are young adults in Namibia who would have no access to structured vocational training without external funding. With an IHK-certified vocational training certificate, their long-term prospects on the job market improve, both in Namibia and, in the future, in Germany. This benefits not only the recipients themselves, but also their families, their region, and companies that rely on well-trained skilled workers in the long term.
How the grant works
Donations go directly to TalentsBridge e.V. and are used to fund individual apprenticeship positions. As a nonprofit organization, we issue tax-deductible donation receipts. Each sponsor is paired with a specific scholarship recipient and has direct access to them. This way, you know exactly who your support is helping.
The scholarship lasts for 30 months. The first cycle begins on May 1, 2026, and ends on October 30, 2028. If a scholarship is awarded after May 2026, the preceding months of the first cycle will be included in the first payment. This ensures that funding for the entire apprenticeship is secured even if the scholarship is not approved until after the first cycle has begun.
